A property is like a person; it is more desirable if it is refined, decent, harmoniously built, neat, well-groomed, made up, nicely cut, styled and attractively dressed.

A house can be sold at a significantly higher price if you make all the necessary repairs before the sale begins, if you remove excess furniture, if you arrange the terraces, repair the fence, renew the vegetation in the garden or if you are financially able to include ecological solutions such as solar panels or integrated smart technology. If you really decorate your property luxuriously and beautifully, you may want to remain the owner of that masterpiece. The appearance of the existing building does not affect the price only if there are plans to demolish the existing one in that place to build a new building.
